50 Cent's profoundly terrible first pitch is becoming an actual baseball card

50 Cent is a man of many talents: rap, entrepreneurship, acting, and surviving getting shot nine times like it’s NBD. But we can’t all be good at everything. Last May, the Queens native threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Mets game at Citi Field. It didn’t go great — unless he’d been contracted by the CIA to assassinate one of those photographers with his fastball, in which case, it still didn’t go all that great.

This week, the Mets announced that sports collectibles company Topps would commemorate 50 Cent’s disastrous effort with a baseball card of his very own.

Somehow, the still image manages to capture something about 50 Cent’s pitch that’s missing on video. It could be the fear behind his eyes.
