A comedian made this brochure warning about a condition called 'Donald Trump'
If you find yourself staring at a brochure warning you about the dangers of Donald Trump in a doctor’s waiting room, know that you’re not losing your mind.
Jeff Wysaski, the artful photoshopper you may know better as comedian Pleated Jeans, made the brochure —imitating the ones that Health Media Network puts out— and planted it in a doctor’s office.
The brochure says that “Donald Trump is a rare genetic condition that affects approximately one in seven billion people,” going on to explain mental and physical symptoms, including “excessive bragging,” a “lack of empathy,” and “avoidance of poor people.” The brochure also suggests treatment options like “not replying to his tweets” and “ignoring him.”
Explaining it doesn’t really do it justice, so check out the photos below.
Wysaski posted pictures of the Trump brochure to his website and Tumblr, as well as photos of it alongside real brochures for breast cancer, high blood pressure, and lower back pain. He explained that he’d posted it in a doctor’s office. He didn’t say where, but Wysaski lives in LA, so it’s probably an okay bet that it’s there.
This isn’t Wysaski’s first time planting a fake. Using the name “Obvious Plant” he specializes in making and posing fake signs. Most recently before the brochure, he put a set of fake facts about acai berries in a juice store.
If you think you or a loved one has been afflicted by Donald Trump, talk to your doctor (or favored political candidate) today.
