A reporter named Sarah (O')Connor tweeted about robot murder and then this happened
On most days, Sarah O’Connor is a Financial Times reporter on the employment beat. But there are other days when a new entry in the Terminator franchise opens in theaters, a malfunction at an automobile factory leads to tragedy, and a woman who has a similar name to the protagonist in the Terminator films sends a tweet about said tragic factory accident. Today was one of those days.
O’Connor’s tweet was immediately recognized for its unintended irony and, well, things snowballed from there (h/t Max Fischer).

For the sake of factory workers the world over –– and Sarah O’Connor’s Twitter mentions –– let’s hope she doesn’t have to write any more stories about robot accidents.
