A Tennessee college has expelled a student after he sent this stunningly racist Snapchat

Okay, kids, I know you’re excited for the start of school, but seriously, you have to stop posting your racist Snapchats to your Snapchat Story. First, we had Paige Shoemaker, a Kansas State student who wrote “Feels good to finally be a nigga” in the caption of a picture where she was wearing a black clay facemask. (She is no longer at Kansas State.) And now, we have Justin Woodard, a student at Belmont University in Nashville who didn’t take very kindly to three Philadelphia Eagles players holding up their fists during the national anthem on Monday night. He had this ultra-charming response.

“Piece of shit niggers,” Woodard wrote. “Every one of them needs a damn bullet in their head. If you don’t like this country get the hell out.”

The photo appears to have surfaced on Monday night; by Tuesday morning, Belmont had issued a statement condemning the Snapchat.

“We reject comments rooted in racism or bigotry. This is not free speech — this is hate speech,” an early Belmont statement read. “As a Christian institution, it is our goal to build a diverse and inclusive community where all members feel accepted, safe and valued.”

Later, Belmont said that Woodard was no longer a student at the school; a spokesperson told the New York Daily News that the decision had not been Woodard’s.

Woodard’s Facebook page, which has since been deleted, revealed him to be a supporter of Donald Trump. On one status from June of last year, he asks, “Does anyone know any information on the freedom ride with confederate flags starting at warriors path tomorrow?”

Woodard did not respond to a request for comment.
