A woman sitting behind Donald Trump straight up lost it when he called Hillary Clinton a ‘bigot'
Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton a “bigot” during a campaign speech in Mississippi on Wednesday night, and, if the instantly iconic reaction from a woman sitting behind him is any evidence, the charge seemed to have been a bit more than she was prepared to handle.
As CNN and many others noticed, the woman’s eyes nearly popped right out of her head. Try not to shout “me too!” when the totality of her “wait, what the hell is he talking about?” realization plays across her face.
In fact, behind-the-lectern reactions to Trump speeches are kind of a “thing.” Like this guy’s “AYFKM?” face when Trump suggested “Second Amendment people” could “stop” Hillary Clinton during a North Carolina rally earlier this summer.
Or Johari Osayi Idusuyi, who spent her time behind Trump’s rostrum reading, instead of paying attention to the demagogue a few feet away during a 2015 rally in Springfield, IL.
As for Trump’s most recent jibe against Clinton, the candidate herself responded shortly thereafter, telling CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Wednesday night that “it reminds me of that great saying that Maya Angelou had, that when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”
