Anti-war protesters interrupted the former Pentagon chief's speech at the DNC

Former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta was given a primetime speaking slot to endorse Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday—but his speech was interrupted for a good minute by antiwar protesters.

Panetta, who also served as head of the CIA under President Obama, gave a heartfelt endorsement of Clinton as a future commander in chief and strongly condemned Donald Trump as unfit to lead.

But part of the crowd at the DNC was not going to let Panetta, who was one of the symbols of the most contentious parts of Obama’s foreign policy, including his drone program, off so easily. Watch:
