Bill Cosby's Spokesman Favorably Compares Him to Brett Kavanaugh in Unhinged Rant
Pennsylvania judge Steven T. O’Neill sentenced disgraced comedian and convicted rapist Bill Cosby to three to 10 years in prison on Tuesday, drawing one of the most intensely watched sexual assault cases in American history to a close.
Outside the courtroom, however, Cosby’s spokesman Andrew Wyatt was defiant, insisting that his client’s conviction and sentencing are no different than what is happening to accused serial sexual abuser and Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
As Kavanaugh, Senate Republicans, and President Donald Trump—himself an admitted sexual predator—attempt to push past the allegations that the Supreme Court nominee drunkenly assaulted at least two women as a teenager in the early 1980s, they’re probably not thrilled with the comparison to Cosby, the rare powerful man who was actually convicted for his crimes against women.
Kavanaugh, meanwhile, is still in the running for a seat on the Supreme Court.
