Churches across America are having their Black Lives Matter banners defaced

A New Jersey church is the latest in a line of religious institutions vandalized for putting up a banner supporting Black Lives Matter, according to NJ.com

Vandals stole two banners proclaiming “Black Lives Matter” from the Unitarian Universal Church in Cherry Hill while also smashing a wooden frame and two outdoor lights.

Church administrator Christie McLean told NJ.com this was the second time this month they’ve had Black Lives Matter banners stolen from the church, costing about $100 each.

Churches across the country that have elected to take a stand with the racial justice movement seem to be having trouble keeping their Black Lives Matter banners up without them being defaced in some way. Other incidents include:
