CNN commentator: Donald Trump 'es un racista—he is a flat out racist.'

When the television networks need a punchy conservative commentator, Ana Navarro is as good a choice as any. Back in August, remember, Navarro caught headlines for responding to her CNN interlocutor by saying, “Oh, I can very much look into the camera and say, ‘Donald Trump is a racist.'”

This time around, Navarro was on a CNN Tonight panel Wednesday with Don Lemon talking about Mike Pence’s “that Mexican thing” gaffe, and after yet another heated exchange, she issued an even more forceful rebuke.

Navarro was, once again, discussing Trump’s now-infamous comments regarding Mexican people (“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best… They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists”) with former Trump campaign adviser Michael Caputo.

Caputo argued that Trump wasn’t making derogatory statements about Mexican people, but rather contextualizing the concerns with illegal immigration. (Uh, OK.)

The conversation became more and more heated, until Caputo told Navarro, “Ana, for you to sit here and call Donald Trump a flat-out racist is outrageous.”

And that’s what set Navarro off:

“Well let me do it again, and let me do it in two languages. Es un racista — he is a flat-out racist, and it’s what he’s played on for 16 months. He is a bigot, he is a racist, he is a misogynist. He has said horrible things about women. He has said horrible things about immigrants, about Hispanics. He has yet to say one good thing about immigrants, and for your to shake your head and tell me that I’m the outrageous one, that’s what outrages me.”

Meanwhile, Caputo just sat there shaking his head.
