Donald Trump just retweeted a neo-Nazi (again!)
Leading Republican candidate for president Donald Trump generally uses his Twitter account to rail against his enemies and refer to various media properties as “sad.”
Occasionally, however, he will retweet a follower. And on Friday, once again, a follower he retweeted turned out to be a neo-Nazi.
The above tweet quotes an account with the handle @WhiteGenocideTM, which should have been Trump’s first clue that perhaps this was not the fellow to retweet. Clicking in to @WhiteGenocideTM’s Twitter profile, we see plenty of White supremacist, anti-Semitic, and racist tweets, as well as a charming cover photo that simply reads “Get the Fuck Out of My Country.”
@WhiteGenocideTM’s profile photo shows George Lincoln Rockwell, the founder of the American Nazi Party. If you squint, you can even see that “Donald Trumpovitz’s” Twitter profile includes the word “Hitler.”
Incredibly, this is not even the first time in the campaign that the Republican frontrunner for president has retweeted a White supremacist neo-Nazi. In November, Trump retweeted a racist graphic with inaccurate crime statistics from a Twitter account called “Non-Dildo’d Goyim,” whose bio declared that “[w]e should have listened to the Austrian man with the little mustache.”
Trump went on to blame the retweet on an intern. We will update this post when, inevitably, Trump once again blames retweeting a neo-Nazi on an intern.
Some unsolicited political advice for Donald J. Trump, which he can take or leave as he sees fit: Stop retweeting neo-Nazis. It’s bad!
