Donald Trump, meninist-in-chief, just accused Hillary Clinton of being sexist against men

Donald Trump has had enough of Hillary Clinton’s misandrist campaign rhetoric.

On Friday, in response to a question about escalating personal attacks from the Trump campaign, Clinton told CNN: “I have a lot of experience dealing with men who sometimes get off the reservation in the way they behave and how they speak… I’m not going to deal with their temper tantrums or their bullying or their efforts to try to provoke me.”

That was, apparently, too much for Trump.

“I think it’s a very harsh statement,” Trump said Monday morning, also on CNN. “It’s basically ‘I can handle men, don’t worry about me, I can handle men.’ If I made that statement about women? There would be front-page headlines… I think it’s a very demeaning statement.”

But Trump has shared, many times over, his various philosophies on how best to “handle” women, whether it’s negotiating prenups or treating them like furniture. Those comments have, by the way, made headlines.

But perhaps his most memorable bit of advice on how to handle women came in a 1992 interview with New York magazine, when he offered, succinctly: “You have to treat ’em like shit.”
