Hillary Clinton insists controversial 'CP time' joke was all Bill de Blasio's idea

In what can only be described as a blatant violation of improv law, Hillary Clinton has come out and condemned the deeply racist joke made during a campaign stop.

On Sunday, Clinton-supporter and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio explained that his decision to announce his endorsement of Clinton took so long because he is running on “CP time,” a term used to reference “colored people’s time.”

“Look, it was Mayor de Blasio’s skit,” Clinton told Cosmopolitan. “He has addressed it, and I will really defer to him because it is something that he’s already talked about.”

Yesterday, de Blasio responded to criticism about his racist, garbage joke by insisting that people simply didn’t understand what he was getting at. “It was clearly a staged show, it was a scripted show,” de Blasio reasoned. “The whole idea was to do the counterintuitive.”

Sure, Jan.
