Hotel Clerk Fired After Being Filmed Calling a Black Customer a 'Monkey'

A clerk at a Virginia hotel was fired this week after he was caught hurling racial slurs at a black customer.

Dee Fogleman, who recorded the incident, was just trying to help his mother switch into a non-smoking room. But instead of getting assistance, Fogelman was called a “fucking monkey” by the clerk and told to get out. Fogleman captured the exchange on camera, and now the clerk has been canned.
