'I Live in Fear': Outraged Activists Demand They Be Allowed to Visit Child Detention Centers

After horrific audio capturing the cries of young undocumented children separated from their parents was published, activists and families are organizing to demand they be allowed to visit the detention centers.

“My message to these children in these detention centers is to stay strong. Because I am out here fighting for them to have the right to be with their family, to be happy,” one young activist named Leah told a crowd.

“I live in the fear of my parents being deported,” she also said.
