Jay Z Makes 12-Year-Old Fan's Day
At a concert in Greensboro, N.C. this Monday, Jay Z brought a 12-year-old fan named Justin on stage.
According to the YouTube description, Young Justin was holding a sign saying, “Can I rap for you?” And Jay Z being the gentlemen that he is, invited Justin up at the end of the concert to do just that. Justin’s rap of choice: Jay Z’s verse from CLIQUE, sans music.
The best part is at about 57 seconds, when Jay Z stops Justin saying, “not the drug dealing part.” You see, Jay Z used to shoot people and deal drugs. But not anymore. And he cares about sending that message of reform to the youth. So beyond just giving some kid what might just be the highlight of his life (hey, we hope this kid goes places but just saying), Jay Z is sending a positive message to the youth about how they should make their way in the world.
