Kelly Osbourne tries to call out Donald Trump for being racist, says something racist
Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy and ostensible recording artist, appeared on The View today, and it didn’t go so well. While discussing Human Comments Section Donald Trump and his “stance” on immigration, Osbourne launched in with some attempt to chastise Trump and instead said something super racist about the Latino population.
“[Trump’s] racist comments do not help,” Rosie Perez, one panelist, remarks.
“If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?” Osbourne responds.
Is she joking? It doesn’t seem like it! She’s got a straight face when she says it, but maybe that’s British humor. Anyway, someone audibly gasps after she says it, and then it’s really awkward for a good 15 seconds.
“Oh, that’s not—nooo,” says a disembodied voice.
Osbourne scrambled to recover, mumbling and gesturing a bunch. She even offered a profane apology on Facebook:
But it was too late, Kelly: your fate was sealed as soon as the words left your mouth. You are—The Internet’s Racist Of The Day! Tune in tomorrow for when Donald Trump takes back the throne.
