Lena Dunham on 'Scandal'? Time for a Hannah Horvath/Olivia Pope mashup

It’s official: Lena Dunham will guest-star on Scandal this season. This is no doubt exciting news for the Girls auteur, a self-professed Shonda mega-fan, but… meh.

Though we’re intrigued by the prospect of watching Hannah Horvath intern among the gladiators, we’d prefer to see what would happen if Olivia Pope picked up a few shifts at Café Grumpy in a Greenpoint-meets-D.C. crossover episode. Your move, HBO.
