Look, I Wouldn't Want Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberley Guilfoyle In My Bar Either
The world’s worst couple—Donald Trump Jr. and former Fox News Woman Kimberley Guilfoyle—are NOT welcome at a campaign event scheduled for a restaurant bar in Bozeman, MT, next week, according to the establishment’s manager.
Although the campaign for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale, who’s closely aligned himself with President Trump, announced on Tuesday that they’d be hosting KimDonj at the at the Midtown Tavern on Sept. 25, the bar’s manager told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle: “That’s just not who we are.”
The newspaper reports:
“We definitely don’t want to take political sides. That’s never our intention,” [manager Jeff] Wilcox said.
Wilcox said he was unaware the event had been booked until it was announced on Tuesday. He said he was reaching out to people to set the record straight and that they apologized for the news coming out.
Now the Rosendale campaign is searching for a new venue, which a spokesman told the paper would have to “accommodate the unprecedented demand” of locals who’ve reserved tickets for an event with the president’s dumbest son and his girlfriend, the woman who once offered an impassioned defense of street harassment on Fox News.
Rosendale is challenging Democratic Sen. Jon Tester, who faces a difficult road to re-election. Flipping his seat is clearly a priority for the Trump administration: As the newspaper points out, Trump Sr. held a rally in Billings for Rosendale earlier this month, which was his second time in the state this year.
