Massive anti-Trump protests shut down the U.S. embassy in Haiti on Monday. Roughly 1,000 protesters took to the streets of Port-au-Prince to rally against Trump’s racist remarks and his decision to end temporary protected status for thousands of Haitian in the U.S.

“Today, we the people of the ghetto, we say we are proud to be Haitian,” one protester shouted. “[Trump] needs to apologize to all people of color!”
