Oracle Arena's NBA Finals food prices draining customers for every last dollar
Though people on the Internet are gonna be all outraged about Oracle charging $28 for chicken tenders and a beer, it’s pretty hard to blame the Warriors. You’ve got people already pot committed, money-wise — Stubhub has the cheapest ticket for Game 2 going for more than $700. They’ve already probably dropped at least $1,000 on tickets, minimum, and I’m pretty sure that science dictates people are going to be hungry. (Note: I was an English major…). And though customers will likely see those prices and complain (or tweet), $30 isn’t going to stop them at that point. (Oracle has not yet responded to a request for comment).
It’s just smart business. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.
