Please Enjoy This Video of Fox News Uncomfortably Calling the House for Democrats

The midterm elections have been a decidedly mixed bag.

While Democrats found themselves unable to wrest control of the Senate away from Mitch McConnell’s gnarled, crypt-keeper hands, they are well on their way to taking a commanding majority in the House of Representatives—an unambiguously good thing that was first announced on, of all places, Fox fucking News.

And folks, while it hurts to know that Beto O’Rourke and Andrew Gillum lost their respective races tonight, please console yourself with this short clip of Fox anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum awkwardly calling the House for Democrats, while trying to maintain their extremely dignified Fox News composure.

I’m not saying this makes a Republican Senate any less of a bummer, but boy does it feel good to know that millions of Fox viewers were treated to the news that Republicans had lost 50 percent of Congress before anyone else in the country knew about it.
