Professional Ass-Kisser Brian Kilmeade Says Trump 'Chose to Blow It' With Christine Blasey Ford Attack
When President Donald Trump finally gets to watching his DVR’d episode of this morning’s Fox & Friends, he’s probably not going to like what he sees—or at least have a momentary feeling of discomfort amidst the show’s usual wave of sycophantic ass kissing.
Hard as it may be to believe, even one of the president’s most stalwart Fox News supporters is wondering if maybe Trump’s public mockery last night of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh wasn’t such a great idea.
Here’s co-host Brian Kilmeade (emphasis mine):
The tactic of the president laying low has been lauded by all sides. Last night he chose to blow it as the FBI is handing in the report as early as today. I wonder about the wisdom—as much as the crowd loved it—I wonder about the wisdom tactically of him doing that.
It’s insane that this sort of baby-soft analysis is what passes for criticism on Fox News these days. And the fact that Kilmeade justified his critique of Trump’s grotesque attack by cloaking it in the lameass veneer of a “tactical” mistake, rather than a moral one, hardly makes the folks at Fox & Friends heroes.
And rest assured, they spent the rest of their broadcast with their lips firmly affixed to the president’s butt. Nevertheless, any sort of extremely minimal distance between Fox News and the president is noteworthy, if for no other reason than it highlights just how insane the perverse Fox-Trump ouroboros on display for the other 99.9 precent of the day truly is.
