Rudy Giuliani's Total Incompetence Is Reportedly Starting to Piss Trump Off

As the old adage goes: This town’s only big enough for one elderly, bloviating racist to repeatedly make an ass of himself on TV. And since Rudy Giuliani has proven himself shockingly adept at screwing things up for Donald Trump again, and again, and again over the course of his short tenure on the president’s legal team, it’s hardly a surprise that the president has reportedly soured on Giuliani less than a month in to the job.

Citing “two people familiar with the president’s thinking,” the Associated Press claims Trump is considering benching Giuliani from all future television interviews following his disastrous appearances on Fox News over the past several weeks. (Trump also reportedly blamed Fox personality Sean Hannity for using the word “funneled” while discussing payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels on behalf of the president.)

Of course, it’s hardly a surprise that Trump is already frustrated with Giuliani (according to the AP, he’d previously bragged about hiring “America’s fucking mayor”). Sure, Giuliani’s seemingly insane televised fuck-ups may have opened the president up to even more potential criminal exposure. But beyond that, if there’s one thing Trump can’t stand, it’s not being the center of attention. And with Giuliani’s catastrophic interviews hogging the headlines, it makes sense that Trump would bench him.

So far Trump has yet to publicly announce any changes to his legal team, or to that team’s media availability. He did, however, predict Giuliani would “get his facts straight” last week, adding, “Learn before you speak. It’s a lot easier.”
