Sochi Day 11: USA, Russia Tied Atop Medal Standings
Sochi is nine hours ahead of the eastern United States—12 hours ahead for the people out west—making it difficult for the average Olympic viewer to catch a lot of the events live. That’s where we come in.

Snowboard – Men’s Snowboard Cross: USA picked up its 10th bronze medal of this Olympics when Alex Deibold crossed the finish line third in the Men’s Snowboard Cross Final. Just ahead of him were Pierre Vaultier of France and Nikolay Olyunin of Russia. The result continues the tie atop of the medal standings between the Americans and the Russians, who account for 19 medals each.
