White House officials previously provided no set date for making CuidadoDeSalud.Gov fully functional. The enrollment feature on the Spanish-language site was supposed to launch in mid-October. But glitches with the English-language site caused a delay.

The Obama administration has encouraged Spanish-speakers to enroll in plans over the phone or in person. But it is much harder for people to price shop and compare insurance plans without the online insurance exchanges functioning properly.

The federal government projects 10.2 million uninsured Latinos will be able to obtain insurance under Obamacare. And two in five Latino adults are Spanish dominant, according to the Pew Hispanic Center.
