The debate audience literally laughed off Donald Trump when he said he respected women

Donald Trump said a lot of deranged and terrifying things at Wednesday night’s presidential debate, but he also provided some much-needed entertainment to the crowd at the University of Las Vegas.

Trump’s biggest laugh line? When he claimed that “nobody has more respect for women than I do.”

The crowd, who, just like every presidential debate crowd, had been admonished to stay silent, couldn’t help itself when Trump tried to get away with that ludicrous statement. Moderator Chris Wallace even had to shush them.

Anyone who’s been watching Trump for even half a second knows why the audience might be amused watching him proclaim he respects women. He doesn’t! He hates them.
