The deeper meaning of Anthony Weiner calling Donald Trump 'F*ckface Von Clownstick'
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart was not kind to disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner through his sexting scandals. But that isn’t stopping Weiner from using another of The Daily Show’s greatest jokes to troll Donald Trump.
On Sunday, Weiner responded on Twitter to polling showing Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders each beating Trump in hypothetical head-to-head matchups.

If you read that tweet and wondered to yourself, “Who is F*ckface Von Clownstick? And what is his position on healthcare reform?”, allow me to refresh your memory with this vintage Stewart-era Daily Show clip.
Stewart gave Trump the sobriquet “F*ckface Von Clownstick” in 2013 after Trump tweeted an arguably anti-Semitic comment that referenced Stewart’s birth name, Jonathan Leibowitz. After the Daily Show sketch, Twitter users kept the joke going, forcing Mr. Von Clownstick to respond to the “haters & losers.”Trump continued to try to undermine Stewart using his given name. His current presidential campaign has attracted support from anti-Semitic fans and several white-supremacist groups with avowedly anti-Semitic beliefs.
Weiner is himself no stranger to the power of the The Daily Show’s mockery. Despite their longtime friendship, Stewart endlessly mocked the former congressman after Weiner accidentally tweeted a picture of his penis while attempting to send the photo privately to a mistress.
When Stewart took a hiatus from The Daily Show in 2013, a second scandal erupted in which it was discovered that Weiner had been communicating with women anonymously in chatrooms using the name “Carlos Danger.” Coverage of that scandal by fill-in Daily Show host John Oliver eventually helped Oliver get his own show on HBO.
Clips of both Stewart and Oliver mocking Weiner have recently reentered the popular consciousness by way of a new documentary about Weiner and his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. The documentary, titled Weiner, hit theaters last Friday.
