The Disturbing Link Between Mass Shootings and Domestic Violence

Mass shootings in the United States have become frighteningly commonplace. Even more frightening is the fact that the majority of mass shootings in this country are related, in some way, to instances of domestic violence.

But even with such a concrete link between abusers and instances of gun violence, it’s shockingly easy for perpetrators of domestic violence to purchase guns in the United States. And until these cracks in the legal system are addressed, the horrifying cycle of domestic abuse and mass shooting will likely only get worse.
