The Republican debate was a wild, boo-filled car crash

Saturday night’s Republican debate started with a sober moment of silence for the late Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia.

Then the entire thing went off the rails basically right away.

Seriously, this debate was crazy. Donald Trump shouted about how much of a liar Ted Cruz was. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio yelled at each other about speaking Spanish. Jeb Bush and Donald Trump got into a huge fight about 9/11 and some other stuff.

The craziest people, though, weren’t even on stage. The South Carolina crowd was as wild as any mob at a Jerry Springer show. They booed everything. Most of the debate was basically booing! It was sort of unbelievable!
