‘The Simpsons’ offers an eerily plausible vision of a Trump presidency

This weekend, The Simpsons made an uncharacteristically straightforward political statement, effectively endorsing Hillary Clinton—or at least, having Marge and Homer endorse the former Secretary of State—for president.

The long-running Fox series, which predicted a Trump presidency in 2000, reimagined how Clinton’s 2008 “3 A.M.” ad would play out in two very different White Houses. Prepare to pledge your electoral votes accordingly, whatever state Springfield is actually in.
