This 27-part tweetstorm explains why Donald Trump scares the hell out of the rest of the world
It’s a popular election-year refrain: “If so-and-so is elected, I’m moving to [foreign, and presumably better, country].”
Cute. However, faced with the prospect of a Donald Trump presidency, the rest of the world could very well be just as worried as many of us are here in the U.S.
Take, for example, DJ Kullid, a South African Twitter user who spent Tuesday evening explaining just why a Trump in the White House still terrifies her from thousands of miles away.
So the next time you hear someone make a glib, if well-meaning, joke about leaving the country should Trump get elected, just remember: What happens in America doesn’t stay in America for long.
