This donkey in a police car is surely up to no good

Why else would a donkey be in the back of a Norman, Oklahoma police car, after all? You don’t just end up there on accident. Right…?

What crime did this donkey commit?

What malfeasance can be attributed to this mammal?

I am generally suspicious of this donkey.

Via Facebook:

Our officers encounter unexpected things every day while on-duty. This morning, Officer Kyle Canaan responded to a call regarding a donkey on the loose in the 8100 block of 120th Avenue NE. To ensure the safety of the animal, he helped transport the donkey to a nearby home for safe keeping until its owner could be located.
It’s not everyday that you see a donkey in the backseat of a police car!

What say you, Oklahoma Daily?

Sarah Jensen, Norman PD public safety information officer, said the donkey was wandering about when officer Canaan responded to the call and decided that rather than let the donkey wander, it would be safer to put the donkey into the back of his squad car.
“He believed he could fit the donkey into the back of his squad car, so he did,” Jensen said.

Likely story.
