As funerals for the victims of Saturday’s domestic terror attack on worshipers at the Tree Of Life synagogue continue on Wednesday, President Donald Trump would like the nation to know that after Tuesday’s visit to Pittsburgh:

• People there like him a lot.
• Even though it’s a sad time for the country, he was treated “so warmly.”
• He definitely didn’t see the thousands of protesters who massed in opposition to his visit on Tuesday.

Just a few people who didn’t treat him warmly, because they wanted absolutely no part of appearing with Donald Trump right after the worst anti-Semitic attack in American history: Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Sen. Pat Toomey, Pittsburgh mayor Bill Peduto, the former synagogue president of Tree of Life, the Pittsburgh chapter of the Jewish social justice group Bend the Arc, and so on.

While the White House’s media department was busy editing down footage for their synagogue massacre supercut, members of Pittsburgh’s Jewish community were beginning to sit shiva, Judaism’s weeklong mourning process, for those killed in Saturday’s attack.
