Trump on His Trip to Meet Santa Fe Shooting Families: 'We're Gonna Have a Little Fun!'

An extremely upbeat President Donald Trump told reporters on Thursday that he expects to “have a little fun” during a trip to Texas. He was on his way to meet with grieving relatives of the victims of the mass shooting at Santa Fe High School.

“The economy is good, stock market’s up, lotta jobs, best unemployment we’ve had in many many decades, actually,” Trump said. “And we’re going to Dallas, we’re going to Houston, and we’re gonna have a little fun today. Thank you very much.”

It’s true. Nothing says “fun” like paying condolences to the parents of murdered teens.
