Trump's North Korea Summit Is Back on, Baby!!!

Just one week after declaring the June 12 summit between the United States and North Korea 100%, totally, and unequivocally canceled, President Donald Trump announced on Friday that his beautiful white whale of a summit was back on! Woooo!

Speaking with reporters on the White House lawn, Trump described the newly reborn summit as “get to know you kind of a situation,” moments after escorting North Korean spymaster Kim Yong-Chol out of the Oval Office following a closed door sit-down.

Trump also bragged to reporters that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un had passed along a “very nice” letter, describing it as “very interesting.” Ten minutes later he admitted he hadn’t actually read the thing, explaining that “I purposely haven’t opened it.”

“I may be in for a big surprise, folks” he added. Lol…

Notably, after insisting that he and Kim Yong-Chol “talked about almost everything,” Trump told reporters that he hadn’t actually brought up North Korea’s human rights abuses, but suggested they “could be” a topic of conversation up on the 12th.

Whether the summit will be canceled yet again remains to be seen. It’s certainly a possibility, but don’t throw away your limited edition Singapore Summit coins just yet!
