Watch NFL commissioner Roger Goodell laugh at a concussion joke

Roger Goodell got paid $44 million in 2012 and $35 million in 2013 for his gig as the NFL’s commissioner. One would imagine, for that amount of money, he’d be taking very seriously the tragic concussion issue threatening to dismantle the sport of football. This year, there’ve been 140 concussions, reports Frontline, and these concussions can lead to a horrible disease called CTE.

It does not appear Roger Goodell is taking the concussion issue very seriously.

Here he is, at an awards banquet, listening to former NFL Roger Staubach tell a joke about concussions. Here he is, chucklin’ away. And here’s Staubach telling the crowd Goodell signed off on the joke. Laughs all around.
