Watch the Shonda Rhimes-produced Hillary Clinton biography that aired at the DNC

Shonda Rhimes, the creator of all of your favorite shows—Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder—played a bigger part in the 2016 Democratic National Convention than you might have realized. Rhimes, according to the New York Times and Variety, created (alongside her Scandal co-producer Betsy Beers) the 12-minute-long video that played prior to Hillary Clinton’s keynote speech on the final night of the DNC. Nice!

The video was narrated by Morgan Freeman.

“It is an honor to provide America with an intimate portrait of Hillary,” Shonda Rhimes told Variety. “Everyone already knows the powerhouse. Now, with this piece, everyone will also get to know the person.”

You heard Shonda: before today, nobody knew the person. But now, thanks to Shonda Rhimes’s 12-minute-video, you know the person. Shonda is a true American hero.

This isn’t Rhimes’s first rendezvous with the Clinton campaign. She directed a commercial for the campaign titled “Real Life.”

Shonda Rhimes… angling for a spot in the Clinton cabinet? Only time will tell.
