White Student Who Posed With Rifle On Campus Whines to Fox News That She's a Victim of Racism

A white conservative student activist who posted pictures of herself posing with a massive assault rifle on her college campus went on Fox News on Thursday to claim that—you guessed it!—she’s a victim of racism.

Kaitlin Bennett, who recently graduated from Kent State University in Ohio, insisted she was simply making a point about her Second Amendment rights and female victimhood when she tweeted photographs of herself carrying an assault rifle nearly as tall as she is following her graduation ceremony.

Understandably, carrying a giant gun on a campus infamous for the shooting deaths of four students is the sort of thing that gets a rise out of some people. Which was what Bennett wanted, obviously. The next natural thing to do was go on Fox & Friends, which she duly did on Thursday.

Speaking with Steve Doocy, who made the hilarious “joke” that she was “a college grad going out with a bang,” Bennett got straight to the point.

“I was not expecting the blatant racism that’s been thrown at me. The right out death threats,” she said. Even Doocy seemed slightly surprised. “What kind of racism?” he asked.

“They’re saying I have white privilege for going out on campus with my AR-10!” Bennett said. “They are saying that this all has to do with me being white. I think that’s very insulting to minorities. I don’t think anything bad would happen to them. I actually had a black police officer with me the whole time.”

Hoo boy. Yep, let’s trust Bennett that nothing bad would happen to black people carrying an assault rifle on campus.

And hear that, “minorities”? This white woman is insulted on your behalf because people are upset she paraded around school with a weapon of war. How thoughtful!
