Israt Audry is a Muslim DACA recipient whose family fled from Bangladesh when she was 5 years old. Audry describes what it’s like to live in the U.S. after President Trump’s recent decision to repeal DACA.
“People in this time are more open to let you know that you don’t belong here,” says Audry.
But she isn’t giving up hope.
“Whatever I need to do to make sure that this kind of bigotry and Islamophobia and xenophobia are not continued in this country, I will do it.”
